Jamaica Pines
Into the green heart of Jamaica
At Jamaica Pines, you're not visiting Jamaica, you're rooted in it. Camp or glamp in the rainforest at the island's centre, on land farmed by the same family for generations, then spend your days hiking trails, swimming in the river, and exploring the bush. The trees are wild and the welcome is real.

Jamaica, off the resort trail
Sleep in the rainforest at the heart of the island, where the trees are wild, the fruit is free, and nobody's handing you a wristband. Choose a tent under the canopy or a glamping suite with all the comforts, none of the compromises.
By day, the property opens up into hiking trails, river swims, and hours of bush exploring, all guided by people who grew up on this land. This isn't an itinerary handed to you at check-in. It's a place you get to know the way locals do, one trail and one swimming hole at a time.

History
Jamaica Pines grows out of land one family has farmed for generations. Our founder grew up working this soil long before anyone called it eco-tourism. He knows every trail, every fruit tree and every bend in the river because he has walked them his whole life, first as a farmer and now as the land's steward.
That history sets Jamaica Pines apart from resorts built on land no family has ever called home. Those properties start with a purchase and a plan. Jamaica Pines starts with a childhood spent in these hills, a family that still tends the soil and a founder who is now opening the land to travellers who want to know the island from the inside.

OPENING
Stay Tuned
Jamaica Pines is still at the project stage. The land is being prepared the way this family has always cared for it, with respect for the trees and plants that were here first. Every trail and campsite will be shaped around what’s already growing, so the forest keeps standing as the retreat takes form. Sign up to follow the journey and be among the first to sleep under Jamaica’s canopy when the gates open.

THE ECOSYSTEM
The Land
This isn't a manicured resort footprint. It's working farmland and untouched rainforest, managed the way it's been managed for decades, with respect for what grows here naturally rather than what can be paved over.
Guests walk trails that predate the retreat itself, drink from the same water sources the family has always used, and eat fruit that was never planted for a marketing photo. Staying here means staying somewhere real.
